If you are based in the UK's East Midlands you may wish to meet with her for hypnotherapy. With twenty years investment in her own development, Elizabeth appreciates the tasks of personal growth from the inside. She is passionate about enabling others to develop sustainable solutions to the challenges they face. She is known to be creative and committed when facilitating the growth of others. Elizabeth is certified as a Registered Hypnotherapist by The General Hypnotherapy Register, the registering agency for the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council in the UK. She is also a member of the National Council of Psychotherapists. Please view her Wise Caterpillar Profile Page to find out more about her. How do I make an appointment? To book an ppointment call 0044 (0)115 9566159 or make your request via the Wise Caterpillar Feedback Form. Wise Caterpillar Therapy Fees and Appointment TimesDaytime appointments with Elizabeth are charged at £35 an hour, evening appointments (4pm onwards) are £38 an hour and Saturday morning appointments are £45 an hour. There are no Bank Holiday appointments. One subsidised hypnotherapy place is maintained for those of limited financial means. These sessions are charged at £10 a session and are available in the daytime only. Application for a programme of subsidised hypnotherapy requires proof of reduced financial status. Elizabeth receives hypnotherapy clients at her home, view map here, in Sherwood, Nottingham, UK (by appointment only). If you are attending hypnotherapy as a private client then appointment fees are payable in advance of treatment. Where more than one appointment is required a deposit equivalent to one session's fee is also payable. This will be forfeited where there is failure to give less than 24 hours notice of cancellation of subsequent appointments. Payments in cash should be made at the start of the appointment. Cheques are acceptable where a valid cheque guarantee card is also provided. Please make cheques payable to Elizabeth Gallagher. Credit / debit card payments can only be accepted by clients who have an e-mail address. Credit and debit card payments are processed through Paypal. If you have specific access requirements you are asked to discuss these with Elizabeth in advance of your appointment so that she may seek to appropriately meet them. Unfortunately, Elizabeth's house is neither wheelchair accessible nor suitable for those who have difficulty with steps. Elizabeth offers home appointments for Nottingham based clients with significant physical, intellectual or emotional impairments that prevent their visiting Elizabeth at her house. You are reminded that many doctors now support the use of hypnotherapy for a number of conditions, both physical and emotional in nature. If your doctor is in agreement, s/he can agree to NHS funding for your hypnotherapy treatment. As a registered NHS provider, Elizabeth Gallagher can accept such a referral from your doctor. Wise Caterpillar Therapy FormsIf you wish, you may download and complete the following Client Details form* before your initial appointment with Elizabeth.
How do I prepare for an appointment? You do not need to bring anything with you to your appointments. However, if you wear contact lenses, it is advisable to have a container of solution to store them in (as you may find it more comfortable to go through hypnosis without wearing your lenses). Please note that it is inadvisable to consume alcohol or other 'recreational' drugs in the 24 hours preceding your hypnotherapy session. You are also reminded that stimulants such as coffee, tobacco, cola and chocolate can interfere with your ability to relax into hypnosis. Please limit your intake of such substances on the day of your hypnotherapy appointment. It is anticipated that if you are taking medications prescribed by your doctor, then you will continue to take them as normal during the course of hypnotherapy with Elizabeth. Should you feel your medication requirements change as a result of hypnotherapy then you will be advised to seek an appointment with your doctor for a review of your situation. Help for those in crisis. Please note that if you are in crisis and require immediate support it is advisable to contact either a helpline such as The Samaritans in the UK (0845 790 9090/ confidential e-mail) or your local hospital. Additionally, if you are feeling suicidal, a website that may help you understand what you are going through is located here. Please take care of yourself. *Note: This is a PDF file.
