Meditation, Creative Visualisation and Self Hypnosis Course


Is it for me?

This course will teach you to select and apply self-transformative techniques in your everyday life for health, social, spiritual and emotional benefit. The course is for you if you:

  • Are seeking greater insight into your behaviour and life choices.
  • Wish to reduce stress, tension, or depression.
  • Want to positively address the challenges of your life.
What you'll learn on this course:
  • The differences between meditation, creative visualisation and self hypnosis.
  • What the health benefits of these approaches are.
  • How to undertake these approaches without falling asleep.
  • Why these approaches to personal evolution are complementary.
  • How each of these approaches can aid your self discovery process.
  • Where, when and how to meditate, creatively visualise and self hypnotise.
  • The strengths and limitations of each approach.
    • What will it be like?

    Each week you will be introduced to at least two new meditation, creative visualisation or self hypnosis techniques. By the end of the course you will be able to safely select and apply a particular technique or techniques within your daily life. With regular application you will easily be able to transform your life into one of greater contentment and clarity.

    Your course tutor is an experienced hypnotherapist and meditator currently completing a Meditation Teachers Diploma. She will seek to create a positive, relaxed learning atmosphere for the duration of the course. All course participants will be encouraged to both contribute to the shared learning of the group and to support the full involvement of others.

    You are not required to be of a particular religious or belief persuasion to gain benefit from this course. Indeed, atheists and agnostics are as welcome to attend as those who are committed to a path of faith - you will be able to gain benefit from the course whatever your personal perspective on the spiritual or belief traditions of the world.

    Where and when will it happen?
    • The course will be held at a venue yet to be confirmed.
    • The course lasts 12 weeks. Each session will start at 7pm and finish at 9pm Tuesday evenings. There will be a break halfway through each session for refreshments.
    • Course fee is £150 - 10% discount for early booking.
    • The venue is accessible to disabled people and disabled participants are welcome (please contact Elizabeth in advance to discuss any specific access requirements).
